Quotes This little gem of a hotel, tucked on a quiet street just off the Piazza di Santa Croce, offers great value, especially if you share one of the mini-suites, which includes a small kitchen.

The Dante is one of the few hotels in this price range that also manages to have a sense of style. The rooms are on the plain side, but the entrance and reception have a sleekness that is intelligently balanced by the wood floors and warm, welcoming lighting. Sleeping quarters are definitely small, as are bathrooms. The second bedroom in the two-bedroom suites are only slightly larger than the bed itself. For anyone for whom elbow-room is secondary, this place offers terrific return on your investment, particularly if you share a two-bedroom suite with an extra friend or two and make use of the kitchen. If you don't want to cook, there's a buffet breakfast.
