How do I find all the independent reviews?

Our authors’ favourite places to stay are now labelled as Author Pick so you can view our authors’ top choices at a glance. Think of these Author Picks as those well-travelled buddies you know you can trust. The full review is available by clicking on the property's details page.

Sometimes you’ll come across shorter reviews. Such reviews are currently published in our guidebooks and have been made available on the website. You can recognise them by a quotation mark .


How do I make a booking?

When you have decided on a property, all you have to do is follow the step-by-step instructions to book it.

Once you’ve clicked on ‘book now’, you’ll be directed on one of our partners’ checkout page to complete your transaction. Please visit our contact us page to access our partners’ FAQ pages.


Can I view/amend or cancel my booking online?

Bookings made before the 24th June:

If you’ve made a booking with Lonely Planet before the 24th June, click on the ‘Sign In’ link from the 'My Bookings' page and simply enter your email address and password that you used when you made your booking

Bookings made after the 24th June:

You can view all your bookings made with our booking partners. Go to the 'My Bookings' section and enter the itinerary or reference number and email address that was emailed to you when you made your booking
